The Lashlette
Story
Lashlette began with a belief that beauty should feel personal again.
After years spent inside the beauty and medical-spa industries, founder Mitzi Jo Runyan saw how easily beauty services could become standardized. Women were often offered the same shape, the same trend, or the same treatment without enough consideration for their natural features, their lifestyle, or how they wanted to feel.
Lashlette opened in Brentwood as a place where artistry begins with paying attention. Every lash design, brow shape, and skincare recommendation is considered in relation to the woman as a whole. Her features. Her preferences. Her natural health. The way she lives.
The studio opened only two months before the pandemic and then remained closed for sixteen months. Lashlette survived because its purpose extended beyond appointments. Mitzi wanted to build a lasting place within her own community—one where women could feel recognized, talented artists could develop meaningful careers, and beauty could become a source of connection.
Today, Lashlette is shaped by three principles: Grace, Precision, and Discretion. Our artists make every lash fan by hand, protect the health of the natural lashes, and design for the individual rather than applying a predetermined look. That same philosophy guides our approach to brows and skin.
Lashlette continues to grow through the women who return, bring their daughters, refer their friends, and allow us to become part of their lives.
This is beauty created through relationship, judgment, and care.
This is The Art of Being Yourself.
